Cheaper coffee pods – there are a couple of different ways to save on pod coffee.
The first and most simple way to save on coffee pods is to buy from a huge online retailer like Amazon.com.
That’s why we have an Amazon store featured on this site. They often undercut the prices offered by the coffee pod producers themselves. And if you buy a few boxes at a time, you can get free shipping too.
We found one deal recently where the price per coffee pod was just 15 cents. That’s pretty amazing, and close to the price you would pay per cup if you were buying ground coffee and using a traditional drip brewer.
Another way to get cheaper coffee pods is to “make” them yourself. It’s easier than it sounds. Simply click on the Coffee Pod Accessories link in the Categories area on the right hand side below, and you’ll find the Presto MyPod Refillable Personal Pod/Coffee Holder.
Instead of buying coffee pods all the time, you simply use the pod/coffee holder instead. Add some ground coffee, place the holder in your brewer and you’re done.
Of course, while this will result in cheaper coffee pods, it will also mean you’ll lose a little of the convenience of using regular pods. You’ll have to fill the holder with ground coffee for each brew, and clean it up afterwards.
But whether you look for cheap deals on Amazon, or buy a refillable pod holder, you will end up saving money on your coffee. |
